GETTING HERE

The AIA Carnival is right on the Central Harbourfront, next to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, which is easily accessible by public transport.

No matter where you are coming from or what transport options are available to you, we are within minutes from the MTR, bus, ferry, and taxi drop-off points. If you prefer to drive or walk here, that’s a breeze too. Below we have shared some instructions on how to get to the AIA Carnival from almost anywhere in Hong Kong.

By MTR - 5mins walk

Take the MTR to Central Station and exit via Exit A (Central Piers), or Hong Kong Station and exit via Exit A2 (Central Piers).

Walk through the IFC Mall towards the Central Piers (pier 10). Cross over the footbridge then turn right towards the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. The AIA Carnival entry is just past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10. 

 

By Bus - 5mins walk

Take a bus to Exchange Square (Central Bus Terminus) or the Central Ferry Piers.

From Exchange Square, walk along Man Yiu Street towards the Central Piers, or enter the IFC Mall and walk towards the Central Piers (pier 10) along the footbridge. Once you are at the Central Piers, turn right towards the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. The AIA Carnival entry is just past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10.

 

By Ferry - 2mins walk

Take the Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui, or any of the island ferries from the outlying islands, to Central pier.

Once you exit at the Central piers, turn left towards pier 10 and the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. The AIA Carnival entry is just past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10.

 

By Taxi - 1min walk

Catch a red taxi to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, or Central pier 10.

Once you are at the harbour front, turn right towards the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. The AIA Carnival entry is just past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10.

 

By Car

Park at IFC Mall - 5mins walk

Drive to Central and park at the Two IFC carpark on Finance Street.

Exit the carpark and walk through the IFC Mall towards the Central Piers (pier 10). Cross over the footbridge then turn right towards the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. The AIA Carnival entry is just past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10.

Park at City Hall -8mins walk

Drive to Central and park at the City Hall carpark on Harcourt Road.

Exit the City Hall carpark on Edinburgh Place and turn left towards the harbour front. Turn left along Lung Wo Raod, then right at Man Yiu Street. Once you arrive at the Central piers, turn right towards the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. The AIA Carnival entry is just past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10.

 

On Foot

Walk along the Harbourfront - up to 1 hour walk

The Hong Kong harbour front promenade stretches from Kennedy Town to the west, to Quarry Bay and beyond to the east. There are some short detours along the way where you will need to break away from the scenery of the harbour. Although the newly upgraded pathway has a lot to offer along the way.

If you are coming from the west, walk towards the Central Piers with the harbour on your left. If you are walking from the east, head towards the Hong Kong Observation Wheel with the harbour on your right. Once you get to the Central Harbourfront, you will find the AIA Carnival entry on the east side of the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10.

Walk from Central - 10-15mins walk

Whether you are coming from the cobblestone paths of Pottinger Street, the excitement of Lan Kwai Fong and Soho, or the hustle and bustle of the business district, you can easily stroll across to the AIA Carnival within minutes.

Walk towards the Central Harbourfront and find an access point to the overhead footbridges. There are many points of access along Connaught Road or Pedder Street, or inside the Landmark, Exchange Square or the IFC Mall buildings via elevators, escalators, and steps. 

Head towards the Central Piers (pier 10). Once you are at the Central Piers, turn right towards the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. The AIA Carnival entry is just past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10.
