Terms & Conditions

AIA Carnival Golden Ticket Presented by GEG (“Lucky Draw”) is organised by Greater China Entertainment Group Limited (“GCEG” or “The Owner”).

By registering for or participating in this Lucky Draw, each participant acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

1. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to participate in this Lucky Draw (‘Eligible Participants’), participants must:

1.a. Be aged 18 years old or above at the time of registration;

1.b. Have submitted an eligible entry into the Lucky Draw in accordance with clause 3(b) Lucky Draw Details;

1.c. Abide by the AIA Carnival Terms and Conditions available at www.aiacarnival.com;

1.d. Provide The Owner with accurate information in their Lucky Draw entry (including name and email address);

1.e. Not be an employee or family member of GCEG, AIA International Limited, or The Ticket Company Limited (‘Zicket’).

Participants who do not comply with these requirements, including the supply of any information that is found to be incorrect, untrue, incomplete, or invalid, will lose eligibility for participating in this Lucky Draw and any subsequent Lucky Draw entries will be invalid.

2. PRIZES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS OF THE WINNERS

2.a. The following are the Lucky Draw prizes (‘Prize’) that are available for Eligible Participants to win subject to these Terms and Conditions:

2.a.i. An AIA Carnival Golden Ticket (‘Golden Ticket’) which entitles the bearer:

2.a.i.1. Access to the AIA Carnival for one (1) day, on any date of their choice in January 2024 (‘Golden Ticket Day’) excluding days where the AIA Carnival is not open to the public, for themselves and up to four other people of their choice;

2.a.i.2. Unlimited priority access to rides for up to five (5) hours on Golden Ticket Day; and

2.a.i.3. 400 AIA Carnival tokens (‘Tokens’) to be used exclusively to play AIA Carnival games on Golden Ticket Day. Any unused tokens will be forfeit and are not exchangeable for cash.

2.a.ii. A prize supplied by Zicket (‘Zicket Prize’) which includes:

2.a.ii.1. Four (4) tickets for a lux pod at one (1) ‘The Grounds’ event of their choice held in 2023 at the AIA Vitality Park where tickets are sold by Zicket;

2.a.ii.2. Four (4) tickets for a lux pod at one (1) ‘Sunken at The Grounds’ 2023 event held at the AIA Vitality Park where tickets are sold by Zicket;

2.a.ii.3. One (1) ride for up to five (5) people on the Hong Kong Observation Wheel Crystal Gondola for any time and day of their choice before 31st March 2024, excluding dates and times where the Hong Kong Observation Wheel is not open to the public; and

2.a.ii.4. Five (5) tickets to any ‘Jokerz in the Park’ event held before 31st March 2024 at the AIA Vitality Park where tickets are sold by Zicket.

2.b. The Owner is not the supplier of the Zicket Prize and shall not be responsible for any liabilities related to the availability and quality of the Zicket Prize. Any disputes arising from the Zicket Prize shall be resolved by the Winner and the supplier directly. The Zicket Prize is subject to terms and conditions determined by the supplier.

2.c. There will be one Prize available to be won only.

2.d. There will be one Prize winner (‘Winner’) only. The Prize will be given to the Winner only. The Winner may not transfer the Prize to any other person.

2.e. The Winner will be drawn by computer system randomly on 18th October 2023 (Hong Kong time) and announcement of the Winner will be published on the AIA Carnival website (www.aiacarnival.com) and in The Standard and Sing Tao Daily in Hong Kong on 25th October 2023 (Hong Kong time). The announcement of the Winner will include the Winner’s full name, as provided in their Lucky Draw entry.

2.f. The Winner will be notified of the Prize collection arrangement via email within seven (7) working days after the Winner is published. The notification email will be sent to the registered email address provided by the Winner in their Lucky Draw entry. Should there be any issues in relation to the sending or receiving of the notification email resulting from inaccurate or incorrect information supplied by the Winner, The Owner reserves the right to disqualify the Winner and will not re-issue the Prize.

2.g. If the Winner fails to collect the Prize within the specified Prize collection period for whatever reason, the Winner will be disqualified without further notice.

2.h. The Winner is required to notify The Owner of the date of their preferred Golden Ticket Day no later than fourteen (14) days before the Golden Ticket Day. If the Winner fails to notify The Owner of the date of their preferred Golden Ticket Day before 16th January 2023 for whatever reason, the Winner will be considered to have forfeit their Golden Ticket. The outcome of any requests to change the date of the Golden Ticket Day, whether by the Winner or The Owner, will be at the sole discretion of The Owner.

2.i. The Winner is required to notify Zicket of the preferred dates for ‘The Grounds’ event in accordance with clause 2(a)(ii)(1) and ‘Jokerz in the Park’ event in accordance with clause 2(a)(ii)(4) no later than fourteen (14) days before the date of the relevant event. In the event the event dates for ‘The Grounds’ and ‘Jokerz in the Park’ are not released to the public fourteen (14) days before the date of the relevant event, the Winner must notify Zicket of their preferred dates for each event within five (5) days of the relevant event date announcement, or no later than two (2) days before the relevant event, whichever is earlier.

2.j. The Winner is required to notify Zicket of the preferred date and time for the Hong Kong Observation Wheel Crystal Gondola ride in accordance with clause 2(a)(ii)(3) no later than seven (7) days before the date of the ride.

2.k. Once a date for any Zicket Prize ticket has been confirmed with Zicket in accordance with clause 2(h) and 2(i), the outcome of any requests to change the date of these tickets, whether by the Winner or Zicket, is at the sole discretion of Zicket. In the event of any event cancellations, Hong Kong Observation Wheel and AIA Vitality Park closures, or any changes to the event or Hong Kong Observation Wheel and AIA Vitality Park schedule where the Zicket Prize will be impacted or the Zicket Prize will not be able to be supplied to the Winner in full, any compensation or exchange of prize inclusions, if any, will be at the sole discretion of Zicket in accordance with clause 2(b).

2.l. Email notification or other Prize redemption documents issued to the Winner will not be re-issued in case of loss or damage. No transfer, exchange, cash redemption or substitution for the Prize is permitted.

2.m. If for any reason the Lucky Draw is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of The Owner that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Lucky Draw, The Owner reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process without prior notice.

2.n. In the event of disputes, The Owner reserves the right to make final judgment on the dispute and otherwise in respect of the Prize and the announcements of this Lucky Draw.

3. LUCKY DRAW DETAILS

3.a. The Lucky Draw will be held from 27th September 2023 at 00:00 midnight (Hong Kong time) to 15th October 2023 at 23:59 (Hong Kong time) (‘Promotion Period’). Entries received after the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

3.b. To participate in the Lucky Draw during the Promotion Period, Eligible Participants are required to:

3.b.i. Purchase an AIA Carnival ticket (‘Ticket’) via any general ticketing channel;

3.b.ii. Check the tick box on the Ticket purchase page to enter the Lucky Draw.

3.c. Each individual Ticket purchase transaction (‘Transaction’) in accordance with clause 3 (b) Lucky Draw Details, will be considered a single Lucky Draw entry. Eligible Participants may submit multiple entries.

3.d. If a Transaction is refunded, or is considered invalid for any reason, the related Lucky Draw entry will be disqualified.

3.e. For the purpose of determining an Eligible Participant’s eligibility for the Lucky Draw, the date and time of their entry shall be determined based on The Owner’s system records. The Owner will not accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed, whether or not arising during operation or transmission, as a result of server functions, viruses, bugs or other causes outside its control.

3.f. The Owner is not responsible for verifying the email address, or any other information, submitted by Eligible Participants for the Lucky Draw.

3.g. The Winner is required to present the original Transaction receipt to redeem their Prize.

4. LIABILITY

4.a. Neither GCEG or Zicket, nor any of their respective directors, employees, agents or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant or any other persons entering the Lucky Draw or as a result of accepting any Prize.

4.b. By entering the Lucky Draw, participants agree that they shall not assert any claim against GCEG, Zicket, their respective directors, officers, employees or agents or suppliers relating to any and all losses or injuries (including special, indirect and consequential losses), damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or use of any Prize.

5. PRIVACY STATEMENT

Participating in the Lucky Draw will serve as the participant's consent to accept these Terms and Conditions, and AIA Carnival and GCEG’s privacy policy, and consent to The Owner’s use (including any transfer) of their personal data for the purposes of the Lucky Draw, and agrees to receive communications relating to the Lucky Draw, including winner notifications. For the AIA Carnival and GCEG’s privacy policy, please refer to the AIA Carnival website at www.aiacarinival.com. The Owner hereby notifies the Eligible Participants that personal information will be collected and used for the Lucky Draw, the administration of the Lucky Draw, placing in the entry list of the Lucky Draw, drawing the Winner, contacting participants on Winner notification, announcing the Winner and identity verification of the Winner upon Prize redemption.

6. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

6.b. The Owner reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions.

6.c. The AIA Carnival terms and conditions govern the Eligible Participant’s use of the AIA Carnival website, the event terms and conditions, the ticketing terms and conditions, and the Token terms and conditions. The Zicket terms and conditions available at www.zicket.co, govern the Eligible Participant’s use of the Zicket website.

6.d. The invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any provision in these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall continue to be valid and binding.

6.e. The Lucky Draw and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Courts have exclusive jurisdiction if any dispute arises relating to the Lucky Draw and these Terms and Conditions

6.f. These Terms and Conditions are written in English and may be translated into other languages. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.

6.g. The Owner reserves the right to interpret these Terms and Conditions. For any dispute arising from the Lucky Draw, The Owner reserves the right of final decision.
